A-Z Challenge – Theme Reveal
Last year, I participated in the Blogging from A to Z April Challenge and have decided to have another go this year.
Blogging from A-Z is a blog challenge that has been around for a few years now. The idea is to write a blog post every day, except Sunday, in April. This then totals 26 days, so that’s where A-Z comes in. Some people choose to blog on a theme and there are others who make random posts on any subject.
For me, I think it works better to have a theme. So today, this post is my “Theme Reveal”.
The theme I plan to blog about during April 2016 is “Towns in Victoria” from a historical persepective. Where possible the towns I choose will be towns that relate to my family history. But when that isn’t possible, I will choose a random town.
Just as a teaser, here is an historic photo of Shepparton, the town where I was born. The building in the background with the tower is the old Post Office, which I am ashamed to say, was demolished in the 1960s. source: State Library of Victoria
Hello, just stopping by to introduce myself for the #AtoZChallenge. I’m SpookyMrsGreen at no 121. Family history is a fascinating subject. I often look at the history of towns and locations as part of my ghost hunting hobby. Looking forward to it! 🙂
Thankyou for stopping by. Your ghost hunting hobby sounds very interesting. Will check it out
