RootsTech Connect – Virtual and Free

September 9, 2020

I was very excited to hear recently that Rootstech 2021 will be a free virtual event, which will be called Rootstech Connect.  Rootstech is a huge multi day genealogy conference, presented by Family Search International, and in previous years, has been held in Salt Lake City, Utah.

This is fantastic news for me, as I haven’t been able to attend over recent years. I did attend in 2016, and the experience was unforgettable. The conference aims to celebrate family and discover family histories, while having a huge focus on connection. Connecting families to each other and to their ancestors, is a theme.

Rootstech 2021 is a three day conference being held from February 25-27. I have registered and it’s in the calendar, so all I have to do now is impatiently wait. During isolation I’ve been regularly attending virtual genealogy conferences, but Rootstech 2021 will be the biggest of all.

Some of the features to look forward to:

  •  Celebrity keynote speakers
  •  Three days of classes and presentations from presenters from all over the world
  •  A huge expo hall featuring genealogy companies from all over the world
  •  Cultural events to celebrate traditions from many countries

What more could an amateur genealogist want?

You can register at Rootstech Virtual 2021 The registration process is very quick and easy with The Rootstech Robot.

I’d love you to let me know if you’re planning to attend. I promise to reply to all comments made.
