Favourite bloggers

March 14, 2018

I haven’t been posting much lately, due to the usual work constraints. However I’ve now created a plan for more regular blogging, so please do stay tuned.

The Blogging from A to Z April Challenge is starting on 1 April, and requires me to post every day in April, except Sundays. I know this regular posting will very quickly get me into the habit again.

But while I haven’t been posting, I have been reading some fabulous blogs. There are so many  great geneabloggers out there, who I rely on to keep me up to date with the goings  on in the geneaworld, at times like this when my time is limited. I know that these bloggers are also busy people, so I appreciate their commitment.

I have really been loving revisiting my favourites, and also discovering new geneabloggers who have recently appeared on the geneascene.  I feel bad that I haven’t been commenting on blogs lately, but plan to get back to the old routine and do so, more often, in the future.

Jill – GeniAus
Chris  That Moment in Time  and  Irish Graves
Kerryn AncestorChasing
Alona Lonetester HQ
Shona Diary of an Australian Genealogist
Kylie Kylie’s Genes Blog
Pauleen: Family history across the seas
Fran:  TravelGenee
Merron: Western District Families
Jen: Conversations with Grandma
Anne:  Anne’s Family History

The above list features just a few of my favourite Australian bloggers.  There are many more that I will be revisiting soon. If you have an interest in genealogy, family history or just history in general, I suggest you drop in on these bloggers and check out what they have to say.

Please stay tuned for the next list of my favourite geneabloggers.

  1. Thanks for the mention. I look forward to your posts in April.

  2. Thanks for the mention Jennifer. The bloggers on your list are also favourites of mine but like you, I haven’t found time to keep up with a lot of comments. I look forward to your next list.

  3. Thanks for the mention. I hope you enjoy the A to Z this year. I had decided on a theme however it’s busy at work so I need to be fair and not commit to it this year. I’m a bit disappointed. Fran

    • Will miss your a-z posts Fran but I do understand how life can sometimes get in the way. Hope to see you back for next year
