Genealogists for families

October 26, 2011

Recently, I read  some tweets and a blog entry from Judy Webster about the  ‘Genealogists for Families’ project.  This project is raising funds to support families all over the world by making small loans to ensure they can become economically viable, and therefore have better lives. The donations are being made through   Kiva where a Genealogists For Families Team has been created. I’m proud to say that I’ve joined this team, and I’m wrapped to see how quickly it’s growing in members.

More information can be found also at this blog – Genealogy Gives Back: Genealogists for Families Project

If you’d like to help and contribute to making the world a better place for struggling families please join us here  Kiva Lending Team: Genealogists for Families.

  1. Jennifer, thanks for your support. I’m glad to see that you have a link from your Kiva Lender Page to your blog.

Some lender messages or team messages that I send via Kiva may not be getting through. I hope all team members are following or subscribed to the ‘Genealogists for Families’ blog, as there will be some interesting announcements in the coming weeks and months.

It’s great to have you on the team!

  2. Thanks Judy. It’s a fantastic cause that I’m happy to be involved with.

  3. Great to see this fine project that we both support getting publicity
